It's "Back to School" time for RHOTO!! We're four (4) lectures behind, but really excited about the subject!!
This time, we're taking "Canadian History to Confederation (1867). (Having lived 30 years in the USA, RHOnda keeps saying "Confederacy"!! Tee! Hee!) For TOny, it's a chance to better know the history/origins of his present home, Canada.
What's involved in this course? Well, basically...
-The First Peoples (formerly called Indians, eh)
-Early European Settlements (France, The Netherlands, England)
-The Union of the Upper and Lower Canada
-Working Toward Confederation
RHOTO learned such much in just one (1) lecture this morning!! It's interesting to study History 'cos--after you subtract the "FACTUAL facts"--the rest is a very subjective account of "how it was", "what happened", etc., eh. It's so good to be "Back to School"!! YAAAHH!!

Hello Rhonda,
You left me the following message on my blog:
"Hello AGAIN, Anne!
HOW do you "type something that becomes another colour... that, when you click on it, opens something else, titled something else"???
Like: "Mahler's blog"; click; you GET your blog!!
Clear?! ;)
THANKS for your help!! I want to accept and pass along my award properly!!
Soft hug,
Rhonda"
What you are asking me is how to add hyperlinks in your blog messages. You will see this is easy as 123 abc...
1. In a new message, with your mouse bu using the right button highlight the word or words you want to be shown as an hyperlink (what you call in your message a text in a different colour that you can click);
2.Then in you Blogspot toolbar, select the button that has a little green planet with the infinity sign on it (it looks like the number 8 but horizontal) this is the universal sign for hyperlinks;
3. You will then have a message box appearing that allows you to type in the address or paste the address you just copied from you browser's address line on the top when you open the desired web page you wanted to link;
4. Click on OK and the work is done.
Becareful of one thing if the hyperlink you just created is the last word you just wrote, the following ones will be part of your link and shall appear in bold and in a different colour... which you don't want. I suggest you wait until you finish your message to add the hyperlinks, it will be easier.
So if you type : Le Mani d'oro highlight the three words, click on the little planet, paste in http://imanidoro.blogspot.com/ in the message box, click ok and Le Mani d'oro will appear in the different colour and in bold and it will be a clickable word.
If you have problem, send me an email. My blog is linked to my Yahoo email.
Take care,
Anne xx
Yuuuuukkkk ! I should read my messages before sending them, it is full of mistakes and typos... oh lala.... Also, yes I do look like a nerd with my glasses ;-)
