RHOTO went today to TOny's follow-up appointment with his surgeon and her internist. Lovely, warm and caring young women. (Both are very tall and very thin. Humm... Guess RHOnda would never make a good surgeon, eh!! ;) )After examining TOny, Dr. Poirier said, "This is beautiful!!" And the remaining, tiny hole will be closed in two (2) more weeks. It also takes four (4) months to heal--for the body to train itself to "go another direction". Soooo, we've two (2) months' left to go!!
In the meantime, nurse Sylvain continues to give exceptional care and shares of himself with us daily.
TOny's positive attitude and willingness to be inconvenienced "for the moment" is surely helping his healing. We both look forward to his returning more fully to outside activities.

I hope that all the little holes needing to be closed will be healed quick, quick, so that Tony and your self can have long walks during spring.
Great news that Tony's recovering so well. And you'll be able to start getting outdoors more just as spring gets pretty. :)
