"This course examines the rise of the doctrine of toleration and its progressive implementation by modern nation states. Attention is focused on the transformations that this imposed on Christian belonging and Christian thinking. The course looks at the evolution of the churches from the mid‑seventeenth century up to the contemporary period, with particular attention to attitudes toward women, education of children, poverty, slavery and missions."

FRENCH LANGUAGE: INTERMEDIATE LEVEL I
This course is for students who have the equivalent of 12 university credits in French. By learning the mechanics of grammar :( , vocabulary, comprehension and written and oral exercises, the student will develop the competence necessary to communicate with ease in French.
NOTE that the textbook translates to: "In Good Shape" in English... Ha! HAA!! (See above sad weight tickler :(. )
